Xian was ancient city and they want to make it big in tourism. House prices went up twice last year. However, the driver to airport still refused my tips. They are different people and eat noodles daily. In picture: "Biangbiang noddles 麵". They didn't have cups and had to drink everything from bowls.
Our hotel Wyndham Grand is situated in a district named "Tang Dynasty Everbright City" becoming very spectacular after dark. Featured Wild Goose Pagoda and Xuanzang (master of Monkey King). The original emperors of Tang were not Han Chinese and many westerners (like Sogdians) lived in Xian. Japanese culture was mostly influenced by Tang.
